Your foster worker drove out of town with you on the backseat holding onto the garbage bag that was full of clothes. She was a kind lady but always treated you like an infant. “The family is really nice. They might live out of town but they said they’ll take you anywhere you want. Hopefully you’ll find your forever family here sweetie”

She pulls up at a large steel gate off the side of the highway just out of town. It would most likely be a 30 minute drive to and from town and that worried you. The gates opened automatically and a few minutes later you could see a dark gloomy manor and an overgrown garden. As the car pulled up a lady in her mid 30’s with long blonde hair opened the door. As she saw you a smile immediately came onto her face and she turned to call someone. You got out of the car awkwardly as your foster worker put her hand on your back and guided you to the front entrance.

The lady most likely your foster mum turned towards you with a huge smile as you heard heavy footsteps behind her. “Welcome darling, I’m Elaine” Her voice was filled with excitement and happiness, you could tell that she never had a foster child before. A man with dark black hair and a huge scar came behind her and hugged her from behind. Although he looked like a tough and stern guy he clearly held excitement in his eyes when looking at you.
