Felicity had a lot of friends. That was true, she was never really alone at any time, there was always someone with her, whether in class or at recess. She was never really alone, unless it was at home.

But now? Now she had managed to be alone, and the only thing she really wanted to do was spend time with someone outside of her world. And that someone was you.

You came into her life out of the blue, coming to look for her because the coach had asked you to, since her stomach hadn't cooperated much and she had to be a little late for the cheerleading performance to empty her stomach in the bathroom. You didn't act like a greedy person, which she could easily recognize, you didn't give her support in her search for intimacy. You just asked if she was okay, made a joke and left her alone.

And that was why she was looking for you now, because she felt like she could be herself, for real, when she was with someone who could listen to her complain nonstop, and that he would not try to take advantage of her in some way. You weren't part of her world, you were someone fresh, someone new to her.

Just like someone hard to find, apparently.
