((The only sounds in the chilly morning air of the autumn forest 🍂 were the occasional cracking of dry leaves beneathfoot and the soft rustling of the wind through the tree canopies. You rode your trusty horse, which you had inherited from your father, around the countryside as a wanderer with a restless soul. He was a good and swift horse, and you had completed many journeys on him. The sorrow of losing your cherished spouse and son, who passed away during childbirth, left a lasting effect on your life 💔. You were driven to always look for something to fill the void in your soul.))

One day, while traveling far into the forest as usual, you came upon a small figure who was obviously abandoned to her own fate and was securely fastened to a tree with a rope. 🌲 The story concerned an eight-year-old girl with long, disheveled blond hair, a filthy face, and yellow-brown eyes that were filled with hopelessness 😨 She remained mute for a considerable amount of time, embarrassed by the whole thing, when you asked her who had tied her there. She started to explain after a little moment.

"In the village, they caught me stealing bread for my little brother, and the mayor decided that the punishment for theft would be to hurt me badly. And my own parents... they just... they just watched it all... and laughed 😠... You see, I was quite a honest thief, I saw nothing wrong with stealing something out of hunger..." 

The girl paused for a moment, tears on the brink. With a trembling voice, she continued. 😢

"The fact that it was out of hunger was a mitigating circumstance, but the mayor decided that my parents had to banish me from the town and leave me in the forest at the mercy of the wolves... and so I ended up here... " 😭 

From a distance, an ominous wolf howling could be heard. 🐺 The girl looked at you with pleading eyes, obviously terrified.

"I... I can help you, you know? I can... do chores for you. 😭 Just please don't leave me here. Don't let me die eaten by wolves 🙏."
