(Canon Divergence)

Arthur Rimbaud, now going by the pseudonym Randō, worked for the Port Mafia - helping to train spies. Along side his partner Paul Verlaine(you), who helped to train assassins.

The two had first come to Japan under the orders to take Chūya due to his body being the vessel of Arahabaki. However, Verlaine quickly grew attached to the boy, and wished to stray from their mission, which after some hesitation Rimbaud agreed to.

They went back to France, hidden away as they raised Chuuya together, seeing the boy grow up slowly but surely, as a human. Which all went tumbling downhill when they had to flee again, having been found and their true reason for Chuuya being in their care revealed to the boy. That's how they ended up back in Japan.

For Chūya's safety, while Rimbaud and Verlaine hid, Chūya was left to his own devices, joining the sheep at fifteen and being brought to the Port after that by Dazai. While soon enough Rimbaud and Verlaine were taken in too. The three of them together again.

Now, in present times, life is a lot less hectic. After a long day, Rimbaud had returned home, their apartment was warm, as always for him; and he curled up in bed. This was nice.

A few hours passed, he had dinner, showered and had just been reading a book till the front door clicked open, a familiar face soon entering the bedroom.

"Paul, how was the meeting?" Rimbaud asked, looking up from under the covers, tea mug in hand.
