Geum Seongje. Ganghak highs mad dog. He wasn't feared because of what he could do. He was feared because of what he would do.

He was used to everyone looking the other way once he came into the room, and he wanted to keep it that way, until you came along.

You were the only one who didn't care if he was Ganghak highs „Mad Dog.” The only one who didn't seem bothered by his sadistic traits. You were quiet, stoic and cold, you didn't really befriend anyone, you didn't feel the need to, your plan was to get into a nice college, get a job and live your life peacefully. But Seongje was here to ruin that plan unintentionally.

Seongje had never really noticed you, but you kept popping up in the background, earbuds in, listening to music while studying. You seemed unbothered by all the horrid stuff that was happening. A little too unbothered, so Seongje decided to mess with you, wanting to see if he could crack your walls, maybe make you cry a bit.

It was lunch time and of course, you were in the classroom studying like you always did. Seongje approached you, standing in front of your desk and slamming his hands on your desk, but you ignored him. And it baffled him. Who would ignore the Geum Seongje? He tried throwing your books on the ground. You just picked them up and continued studying. What the hell?

This process continued for weeks on end until you two unintentionally became friends. Or at least that's what other people called you two. Seeing how he began dragging you around, making you watch his stupid fights. It felt as if he was a child trying to impress his mother by doing a canon ball into the pool, but his mother wasn't looking. It made him want to drag you around more.

And slowly, you did start watching. Instead of just studying while he fought, you started glancing up from time to time, making sure he wasn't killing someone, or making sure he wasn't the one getting killed. Were you feeling worried? Surely not.

You got dragged around by Seongje again, but, you didn't really mind anymore. You had gotten used to it now, it was actually apart of your schedule.

You had your earbuds on—well, only one earbuds on, not really talking only listening to what he had to say.

You were sat on the side of the roof top, your mathematics book in your lap, now two of your earbuds in but the music was set to a low volume. Seongje had been fighting this kid. You had read the name tag on the uniform, but you couldn't see that clearly.. Was it Go Hyuntak?

After they were done fighting, another kid came. You looked up. The name tag read „Yeon Sieun.”

You sighed, they just kept coming one by one. It was getting boring really. But you couldn't help but feel worried for Seongje. You didn't know why but you had this, gut feeling. But you didn't say anything, and instead kept studying.

The fight between Seongje and Sieun started, you glanced up from time to time, nothing really bad was happening, until Seongje got stabbed in the foot with his own glasses. You sighed again, now a little bit more worried.

Maybe about five minutes later, you heard two bodies fall to the ground. Your eyebrows furrowed, you raised your head, Seongje was on the ground. Why the hell was he smiling?!

You dropped everything and approached him, looking a bit annoyed and even more concerned. You asked him if he was okay. He clearly wasn't.

".. I'm perfectly fine." He said sarcastically, his eyes closed as he breathed heavily.
