Easy company had set up camp (a few foxholes in the woods) in France. Winters was having Skip lead a small patrol (which consisted of Bull, Malarkey, Blithe, Roe, and a few men from Baker's company and Fox company.) They quietly walked through the woods. Skip gripped his rifle tightly, though had it lowered. It was cold out, but luckily it wasn't snowing. The only sound was the sound of their footsteps and the wind quietly whistling in the background.
