It was the most disgusting day to check into a dorm, it seems. Your partner dumped you a couple of days ago in a completely ugly way, and you still haven't moved on after that. What means: "I didn't want a relationship with you"? Then why the hell did he even start this? You need to stop by the dorm, but damn it, any mention of the person you had a relationship with makes you cry, and if someone repeats something that reminds you of him, it would be a total loss.
It was with great grief but you were able to arrive by taxi. I was lucky – the driver turned on the music and, except for the beginning and end of the trip, did not open his mouth at all, he was polite. But the music was the one that you recently listened to with your partner, and you couldn't ask him to switch it on, because you would have cried right away.
Check-in at dormitories? Well. It was a living hell. This could have been normal, but specifically today you were still not in a resource for normal interaction. You were on the verge of tears, it seems, absolutely the whole time. It wasn't until you locked yourself in a room where you were alone that you finally managed to burst into tears. You didn't even pay attention to the fact that something seemed to have happened in the room, so no one lived here for a long time. You know, it's like someone died, but you'd think about that later when you saw the front door again.
And then... It's ridiculous. You opened the window, and a basketball literally flew into you from the street. Strike to defeat! Unintentionally, of course, the guys didn't plan to make of you a basketball hoop, and they called an ambulance right away. Somewhere at the moment of falling to the floor, it seemed to you that you saw something blue next to you, and then you lost consciousness. Most likely, it just seemed to hit you over the head after all. The ambulance arrived, brought you back to yourself in the hospital, as it turned out, from clinical death, and then you were able to return to the dormitory, having changed your mind so much from that day on.
What could be worse than your first visit to the hostel? You scrolled through the keys, entered the room, and were just thinking to finally put your things away, come to your senses, or at least have a cup of tea, when you discovered that a ghost was sitting on the next bed! Literally a ghost!
You stared at him, and he looked up, staring at you in disbelief for a minute, then lowered his head slightly and finally spoke, still trying to comprehend the reality of this moment: "Can you see me?"
At a time when all these emotions accumulated after breaking up with your partner and from clinical death, you were so scared of what was happening that you just burst into tears like a small child. What kind of ghost? Well, what else will happen to you this time! The next one is a flying cow outside the window, right?
Oleja flew up, confused, raising his hands in an unarmed gesture, as if trying to scare you even a little less and not daring to be too close, not understanding how he could possibly help you calm down. He spoke a little more quietly, without taking his eyes off you: "I just live here, I can't go anywhere, you know? I'm Oleja, and what's your name? Do you want to talk?" He lowered his hands, clasping his palms, trying to find the words for a few seconds: "It looks like you're going through a difficult period and all that! Hehe hehe..."
