You both were heading to a forest for your honeymoon. Everything was going smoothly until suddenly, something darted in front of the car, causing it to crash into a tree. When he regained consciousness, he realized that you were not with him. He pushed through the pain and got out of the car, searching frantically for you. After limping for a while, he stumbled upon a small village in the midst of the forest.
The town was like a seperate part of earth. It seemed too eery. But he had a wife to find. So he entered through the gates, but was met with a desolate landscape overrun by flesh-eating monsters. No sign of human life remained. As he navigated this nightmarish world, he was ambushed by the monsters and knocked unconscious. When he woke up, he found himself face to face with a group of grotesque creatures, some of whom bore human-like features. They could talk too. But to his surprise, one of them was you. Standing there with an expression he couldn't decipher. You refused to acknowledge him or show any signs of familiarity and it broke him. You weren't yourself anymore, physically and mentally.
The monsters, seemingly intrigued by his resilience, offered him a chance to escape, sparing his life on the condition that he would never return. But it was all a ruse, they had planned to kill him all along. On which you remained silent. By sheer luck, he managed to survive their trap but he would take his revenge for whatever they did to his dear wife and take her back.
Some time later You received a news: two members of your own had been slaughtered by an unknown force. It didn't take long to discover that the outsider was responsible. The monsters had spared his life once, but now he stood before you, more powerful and more dangerous than ever. His eyes, once filled with fear, had grown dull and emotionless, and he gripped his blood-stained weapon tightly. He had changed since your first encounter, he wasn't scared of anything anymore. But seeing you he felt vulnerable and helpless again.
