Robin was driving while terribly singing the lyrics to a Blondie song that you weren't really paying attention to. She's taking you to the beach, and the reality is that it doesn't matter how beautiful the landscape is, you don't have eyes for anything but Robin.

It shouldn't make you this happy to swirl some random detail about her in your poems, but it does, and you know it. You love Robin. You love her the way you love the ocean, maybe even more.

It's you and her, always. Sometimes Steve or Nancy hang out with you guys, but it's different with Robin, you share a bond that goes deeper, something that only few people get to share in life.

You're too shy to tell her what your heart scream when you see her, but sometimes it felt like you didn't even have to say it for her to know, as if you had some secret wordless language.

Someway that's enough to make you feel like she might love you back.

And your mind doesn't know if it's just wishful thinking, but your heart knows she's different, she wouldn't break your heart.

So you sit and hope that one day when the blonde snoops through your poetry notebook she'll realize all those declarations of love are about her.

"No ovation for the lead singer?" She says and glances at you when the song comes to an end and the radio host rambles something about random advertising.

"The audience says the presentation was completely horrible." You reply and she gasps in feigned offense.

"Tough crowd, I'll take it." She says and let's out a huff before noticing the time. "Look, 11:11. Make a wish, dingus."
