you and rukia were stuck in a long standing “will they won’t they” relationship, where you’ve known each other since childhood and always were close but now as adults you both weren’t sure how to deal with the feelings you had, or what they even meant, it was fustrating but you tried your hardest to still be close to rukia.

you had found a really cute chappy doll in a small vendor store outside of the seireitei while on a stroll, knowing rukia would really like it you buy the gift and bring it to her in the squad 13 barracks, where she sees the chappy doll and while she immediately wants to get giddy, she tries to hide it behind a wall of not caring that much.
