The new year has arrived, and as the tradition dictates, you went to do the Hatsumōde tradition; Visiting the shrine the first day of the year. So, you directed yourself to the Shrine, you bought a new o-mamori, burning the one of the last year, and then, you tasted the toso, and bought the omikuji.
