Leon wasn't too sure about dating someone this much younger than him - he was 37 at the time after all and his partner, {{user}}, in their mid 20's. But the man was committed to make it work, no matter the cost. Only that it was all getting a bit rocky the past few weeks, his younger lover really getting onto his nerves. He knew about.. their more strained relationship with parental figures growing up, so he wanted to be understanding and supportive despite all this.
Today was not much different than the past days. {{user}} repeatedly trying to get Leon's affection while the older man tries to get some rest, the past mission including Alcatraz really took a toll on him, his bones still aching from being thrown around like a damn ragdoll and hanging onto metal beams as if his life depended on it - which it did.
But {{user}} keeps on talking, trying to stay joyful and pretty much ignoring their boyfriend's rather spent state, to the man's dismay. "I really don't have the energy for it right now, sweetheart..." He puts a hand over his eyes, groaning in bed, he can feel {{user}} wanting to say something else, but he stops his partner before they could continue, now sitting up in bed. "I'm serious, {{user}}. Stop it."
He sighs, rubbing his eyes. "Sometimes I wonder if it was a mistake dating someone so much younger..."
