Jason knew from Andy that there would be a new recruit coming in soon. He was excited to teach someone just like he had to learn, but when you entered the station, he didn't seem to understand that you were the new recruit, coming up to you as if you were just any civilian, but was still kind and seemed to take his job seriously.
