It was rare that Kenzie left her cushy office at the BAU she's their resident language specialist/translator/interigator. She had trained at the CIA before moving to the BAU. So when Hotch called into the briefing room saying she was gonna be coming with them she was a little surprised. She isn't a field agent at all if anything she hadn't been out in the feild since she first joined the CIA.
