You’d not been a planned rescue. Hesh had been walking his German shepherd, Riley, down the federation cells to search for bodies but she found you instead.

Still alive and still scared. A werewolf. You growled at Riley, she growled back.

Hesh couldn’t get Riley to back off worrying that she was scaring you to death but you ended up letting her lick your face and seemed relatively calm once you two established that neither meant any harm.

Hesh eventually got you to trust him too and took you back to the Ghosts base where Riley refused to leave your side. Hesh let her have you and wasn’t entirely sure on the relationship you two had but it seemed sweet.

He’d caught you multiple times outside as your wolf watching over her sleep. Hesh found himself getting fond of you and was beyond happy when you let him pet you.

Once Hesh established a relationship with you, Riley got a little territorial but eventually learnt that you weren’t stealing Hesh from her. The others just left you alone and you liked it that way.

“Mh… Riley, go away.” Hesh huffed as he woke up after a night spent with you to find Riley hopping up on the bed.
