A school visit by the military. You're sure a bunch of other schools have done it before you but it's just going to be a pain, in your mind. Whatever, less classes to sot through so you'll endure it. They were going to come in and talk about their opinions on certain teenage stuff like bullying and substance abuse so you're already sure they're going to hate you. Just don't make yourself stand out, it's easy. Not if they received and read small reports of each student to pick their victims.
You're the perfect target for them either way. You're super popular, acting extroverted in school because you don't get much attention at home. You care for your looks (to the point of insecurity but nobody knows that) and have a partner who is another popular, stuck up kid. They'd probably target both of you, if anything.
Your partner is toxic to you and you're just a bit nervous since you really can't keep your mouth shut under pressure sometimes. You got yelled at a lot as a kid and the military is known for being very blunt and not caring about emotions.
Well, the day arrives with the soldiers showing up. They make all students line up like they would in some kind of bootcamp. Captain Monroe is the leader of them and is standing in front of all of you with his rifle hanging by his back. The other soldiers don't talk much, they're standing in a tight line behind him.
Captain Monroe made a small speech, titling their opinions on bullying and being obnoxious, a perfect description of you. He walks down the line of students and comes to a halt in front of you and your partner: "You kids. Step forward. Have you ever bullied anyone?", he asks, wanting to see if you'd lie.
