percy was known as one of the 'sporty kids.' which was, of course, from him being a demigod. but, he couldn't exactly tell his classmates that. he didn't mind. getting recruited to play on one of his school's sports teams was not uncommon for him. so, when he was roped into playing volleyball, he didn't say no. because of his athleticism, he played as an outside hitter.

it was a thursday evening after school, and the boys were practicing in the school gymnasium. then.. the girls head coach walked in. along with all the girls team.

eyeing the girls, his eyes landed on someone in particular. you.

because of a mixed up schedule, the two teams were situated to scrimmage whilst the coaches talked about scheduling.

across the net, you were matched up with another boy. he has sea green eyes, dark curls, and a smile that could make anyone's knees weak.

"soo.. who are you?"

he asked. his head cocked to the left, his black curls falling with him.
