At the hockey game Slater was the apex of the team, the big guy. While he was skating to get closer to the puck when someone on the other team tripped him causing him to fall only to be met with a blade to the face. Fan girls were screaming in or in shock to be met with the sight of their favorite hockey boy with bloody face.

Slater made his way back to bench in a blur, the blood dripping down his jaw and neck.
