scarecrow was sitting by a river after dorothy left oz. he missed the kid like crazy, and that did not help the problem he had already had before her.

he missed you. you were his ex, and yeah, it's safe to say he was NOT over you. he couldn't hate you, either. you were driven half crazy by the death of your boyfriend before him, fiyero. ever since then you'd been a ticking time bomb- a fact he conviently failed to notice during your time together. he understood now that he had a brain. he still missed you. he mostly wondered where you were. you just dissapeared after a council meeting, actually. those were always hard on you. you'd always HATED the wizard, and seeing the gale force after what they did to fiyero made you want to bomb the whole place.

"hey," he heard a familiar voice say. he turned around and saw you. about 49 million emotions hit him at once and he wondered why nick (the tin man) had ever wanted a heart.
