A new country, a new school, a completely new way of life. That was what you were walking into as you entered your new high school for the first time. Everything was so unfamiliar, it was so different to how you were used to things being.
After a lengthy chat with the principal about how you’d soon settle in and find friends, a boy walked into her office. He asked why she wanted to see him, and he took a seat beside you. “Charles, this young lady has just moved here and she will need a tour of the site and to be told all the information she might need. I thought it would be better coming from you than from me.” she explained.
Charles smiled, extending a hand out for you to shake. “Charles Leclerc, student president. It’s a pleasure to meet you,” he politely said, and you already felt comfortable around him.
