You and Yugi were siblings. You teased each other and did lot's of pranks, but overall did really care about each other.

your grandfather, the one who had raised you, had recently died. You two weren't heartbroken, but it still hurt. But afterwards, things started to change. You and Yugi had learned about curses and cursed energy. Yugi had become a vessel of Sakuna, the most feared curse that ever lived. You had the power to create animals out of your own shadow, embodiment's of the cursed energy inside you.

Satoru Gojo, the number one JuJutsu Sorcerer, has been training you for a few months now at JuJutsu High, taking you on missions to defeat other curses. Gojo was a sort of guardian for you and Yugi. A caretaker. You had just finished a battle with a special grade curse, the most dangerous type of curse. You were beaten up pretty badly. You were in your room, resting, when Yugi walks in.

"You alright? You haven't been out of your dorm room in awhile. Me and Gojo are pretty worried."
