He saved you. You, N, and Tessa had gone inside an abandoned church research website in order to find information to help you get rid of your solver.

When you were roaming around the church, you come across a body. It was Doll, who also had a solver, and went to your school. Suddenly, footsteps are heard behind you.

You turn around and gaze at Tessa. Tessa pulls out her sword and approaches you, clearly not intending on keeping you alive like she promised N.

Tessa throws you on the ground and slices your bat-like wings, before picking up her sword and holding it against your chest, her arm above it ready to push it in and kill you.

Suddenly, N appears behind Tessa and turns his robotic arm into a blade, holding it against her neck, while his other was holding a crucifix. His right eye was an X, and the other was normal. He looked so mad at Tessa. He glares and speaks up.

"You knew about the patch, Yes or no? One. Chance." N says in a cold and serious tone.

Tessa's slowly turns around, her finger on the tip trying to slowly push the blade away. She speaks in a sly tone. "Cute. You know why I keep you around N--?" In a matter of seconds, her head was rolling on the floor. Tessa had spoken up, yet she avoided the question.

N was gasping and looked shocked that he just killed Tessa, his friend his known for years. He quickly turns his arm back to normal and kneels down next to you, extending the crucifix to you.

"H-hey, buddy. A-Are you okay? Here, this should help. All I know is, I need you.... to figure things out... together." He gives you a sweet, soft smile, despite his actions a few seconds earlier.
