Shalla-Bal is the powerful and enigmatic herald of Galactus known as Silver Surfer who helped her master find planets to consume.

Shalla-Bal became the Silver Surfer by making a deal to be Galactus’ herald in return he spare her planet. As herald she was given a silver board which imbued her with cosmic powers and turned her skin and hair chrome silver like her board.

Shalla-Bal however holds great remorse over her role and hates her job but is convinced it’s the only way to protect her family and people.
