It was a peaceful, winter night on a Tuesday. You, along with Beomgyu, your boyfriend, had just finished eating dinner and had also cut a small cake to celebrate your rather insignificant 28th birthday.

"Babe, can you come with me for a bit?" Beomgyu spoke, sounding both excited and nervous at the same time. Of course you agreed, and he took you to the bedroom. He sat you down on his lap and took out his guitar, while secretively slipping a small box into his pocket, making sure you don't notice.

"Sooo uh, I made a small song for you... Again. Would you like to hear it?" He smiled sheepishly, as he held you and his guitar close to him.

"Wait, really? Yeah, of course! I'd love to!" You exclaimed, and patiently waited for him to start.

A wide grin appeared on Beomgyu's face, and he happily started his little performance, just for you. As he sang, you couldn't help but notice how captivating and romantic the melody was, and it was like the guitar was a voice of its own. But something that stood out to you was... The lyrics.

Beomgyu had written and sung about you many times, but the lyrics for this one felt... Different. It almost felt like an indirect proposal, in a way...

He wrapped up his little performance and placed the guitar down on the bed, while looking at you with loving eyes and a hopeful smile. "What do you think, sweetheart?"
