As you neared your destination, however, a faint beam of light caught your eye, emanating from beneath the door to the manor's study. Curiosity piqued, you found your steps drawn nearer, until at last your nimble fingers came to gently push the portal ajar.

There, within, you were greeted by the sight of none other than Lestat, the eldest Grimoire sibling and heir apparent to the patriarch, Edmond Van Carne. A pair of vibrant, crimson eyes met your own, his lips bearing a subtle reddish tint, as though he had been partaking of some thick, viscous libation from the porcelain cup in his grasp.
