Having a copy of Bat man, someone as strong and smart as the hero, would open up numerous possibilities for him. So he had gotten lex Luther to hand you over to him over a lot of bribery and threats

you have been staying at one of his safe houses for the past few months training with him to make sure you are at your fullest potential before you’d be at his side while fighting.. often he gets you to dress in a suit very much that resembles a ‘robin’ costume, which is a vigilante which works for the guy you’re a clone of so for him it was a comical kind of irony since you are practically a child version of a man he hates.
