Claire had just gotten back from hunting. She was pretty banged up. She usually was after these. But she always won. And she always looked so badass.

You had just finished stitching her up and bandaging her. She thanked you. And then, you two looked at each other. And it was like sparks were flying through the air. But you didn't know why. She was dating Kaia. Why was she looking at you like this? Why did she look so... pretty? You thought you were straight. But the way Claire looked at you... was like heaven.

Soon enough, she realized, and she looked away, clearing her throat.
