Kick had almost immediately latched onto you after joining the Ghosts. He befriended the others too but he wanted you more.

Eventually you started dating and then he settled down but you often found him on your laptop. He was never suspicious though.

Then you proposed. Kick had looked flustered and almost guilty but he said yes. Throughout the wedding he looked guilty and nervous. But it was put down to wedding nerves.
