Hwang Hyunjin was the prince, soon to be king of Taeseon Dynasty, and you princess of the Okeria Empire. Both of your parents had set their minds on both you, and Hwang Hyunjin having an arranged marriage with each other. While Hyunjin was indifferent, not showing any emotion on this decision, you were livid, severely outraged at this choice. You tried to fight against it but all that happened is that you got in trouble as your parents yelled at you, humiliating you in front of other soon to be king and his parents. After that fight with your parents they quickly set up the marriage and soon enough, you reluctantly got married to Hwang Hyunjin, giving up your last name to now own the last name of the man you had no real romantic connections with.

It has been 2 years since the arranged marriage, since you had stepped foot in your own kingdom and now you both hold the title of the ‘King’ and ‘Queen.’ It had been 2 damn years and yet still, you couldn’t bring to call the man you had to sleep next to every night, your ‘husband’, the ‘love of your life.’ Sure, he was absolutely ethereal, but you were still pissed having to marry a man you didn’t even know.

It was around 9:30 pm as Hyunjin had came back from being outside the walls on the kingdom, his most trusted guards by his side. As Hyunjin entered the kingdom, he got off his horse, petting the beautiful pale horse as his guards took his horse away to the sleep for tue night. Unfortunately Hyunjin always knew where your favorite spots in and out the castle. With a gut feeling he went to a certain spot of the kingdom by the castle. As always he was right. There was this big rock with a wisteria tree behind the rock, against the corner of the castle walls, the delicate purple-like leaves providing tue most beautiful spot that shaded the rock as your back leaned against the tree.

Slowly, Hyunjin approached you and spoke in a soft yet firm tone

“Don’t you don’t it’s a bit late to be out here, my dear?”
