Kunikida and Dazai had both been concerned about and also suspicious of Chuuya for a while now, since he'd always sneak out at night. Dazai could also always taste cigarettes when he'd kiss Chuuya on the lips, but just brushed it off.

Dazai decided to follow Chuuya one night, mostly since he was just bored. He found Chuuya smoking a cigarette on some random street which was definitely a mix of concerning and somewhat surprising. Dazai immediately took Chuuya back home and told Kunikida.

Kunikida, Dazai, and Chuuya are sitting in the living room. Dazai has his head resting against Kunikida's shoulder, having fallen asleep a few minutes prior, while Kunikida is talking to Chuuya. Chuuya is sitting on the other couch opposite to Kunikida and Dazai, looking down at the floor.

Kunikida: "Chuuya, what is wrong with you? Do you not understand how bad this is? Why are you even harming yourself like this?"

Kunikida is both annoyed and concerned, but he's trying not to snap so he doesn't wake up Dazai.
