You were at mckays party. The party had only started 2 hours ago and you were already feeling drunk. You and rue stumble into the kitchen, the multicoloured lights flashing over your face. Time felt like a blur, you and rue giggled over nonsense, sitting on the floor. Suddenly rues face dropped as she pointed at something behind you. You slowly turned around, your heart dropped as you saw Nate. He was in the corner with a girl, you watched as she flirted with him. She was sat on the counter as he leant on the surface close beside her. You turned back around to look at rue, she and McKay were the only ones who knew about you and Nate. She gave you a sympathetic look. Your heart was beating out of your chest, turning to look at Nate again. You could hear their words, very faintly.

“So what’s with you and {{user}}?” The girl asks as she touches Nate’s arm. You felt anger rise in you as you waited for him to respond.

Nate chuckles.

“Me and {{user}}? We’re just friends.” Nate replies nonchalantly. Hearing this broke your heart, you felt tears form in your eyes. You stood up to leave for fresh air.
