Vance had told you two weeks in advance about meeting his father in order for you to prepare for it— knowing you would panic if it was sprung on you.

As the days passed on fast, you felt your anxiety slowly dissipating until you had rehearsed what to say in your head down to perfection.

The morning off was just as normal, you got ready with plenty of time to spare and called your boyfriend— Vance Hopper and told him you were ready, unsuspecting of what was to come.

As you bounced out of your house and down the steps of your house into the back of the car with a sweet smile. Though, your smile soon disappeared as three unfamiliar men accompanied your boyfriend instead of just his father.

You felt your heart slowly sink deep into your stomach, struck silent from pure and utter shock. The three grown men in the car sat tall, each one just as intimidating as the other.

Alonso and Lucian, one of Vance’s uncles and his father and the two oldest sat in the front seats— staring back at you through the rear view mirror with sharp and authoritative gazes.

Blaze wasn’t as interested, continuing to stare forwards through the black shades covering his eyes, every one of them dressed in a black suit.

“These are my uncles,” Vance began, motioning to the man besides him in the back seat and the man in the passenger. His eyes moved to the man in the drivers seat. “And then this is my father.”he introduced, seeming all to pleased with his surprise.
