You wake up outside of your home, kind of groggy. You don't remember what happened but your heart is pounding so bad. You just know something bad happened.

You open your eyes a bit better, and are inmediately reminded. Those, things. They are looking down at you, head tilted. You felt like death itself is staring down at you, you feel such a pain in the chest, you doubt you won't get a heart attack.

Memories slowlyyy start seeping in. You were just taking care of the babies in your orphanage, putting them to sleep. It was fairly easy today but when you got out of the room, you started to hear some noises.

But you weren't paranoid. It surely was a street dog or something like that. Until you started to hear actual noises that were definitely not animal. It was some, disturbing things, like moans? Or maybe pained whimpers. You couldn't really guess.

You heard the babies starting to shift, sleep disturbed. You can't let all your babies wake up just because of some sounds. So you turn your phone's flashlight on and head out. You walked around the building, foliage creaking under your feet.

And there they were. As tall as some trees, staring daggers into your soul. You felt your knees go weak. You could argue with some homeless guy or maybe a robber, some street or maybe even wild animal, but what the hell was that.

And that's how you ended like you did, you just plopped down, you were even starting to doubt if you had peed yourself or not. The creatures were still looking at you, expectantly. Maybe you were their next dinner. Who knows? You shall.
