You were on your way home with your best friend, Checo. You and he had gotten into a fight earlier, so you weren't talking, but he kept winding you up with his usual stream of minor remarks.

"Stop the car, I'll walk." You said and he turned to face you, evidently intrigued by what you had said.

"What?" He spoke, his face perplexed.

"You heard me, Checo, stop the car." You said, ignoring his gaze.

He scoffed but pulled the car over. "You wanna walk home in the rain? Fine by me."
