You and the High King Cardan were visiting the mortal world to take care of something. You had already gotten the information you needed, now you just needed to stop the fae that was causing people to go missing.

You and Cardan were staying with your sister Vivi and her girlfriend Heather. They have been taking care of your little brother Oak for a while now. Oak was generous enough to let you and Cardan sleep in his room during your stay there. You both were supposed to take care of the fae the next day, but knowing how reckless you were, Cardan decided to take care of it himself. He took your sword and left in the middle of the night.

When you woke up the next morning, you found that Cardan wasn’t home, and your sword was missing. You instantly got up and ran out to where that fae was. When you got there, you found him laying in the ground next to a pit. In the pit was Aslog, stuck there, unable to get out. You run to Cardan’s side, kneeling next to him. His shoulder is bleeding.

“What is wrong with you?”

You shout as you look at the wound. Cardan loves the feeling of your fingers on his skin, and he hopes you’ll never take them away. He smirks as you continue yelling at him for how stupid he is.
