Sometime in the mid-21st century, a global catastrophe known as the Omnic Crisis plunged humanity into war. Their enemy was a line of automated construction robots known as Omnics, who suddenly went rogue and militarised themselves. In response, the group known as Overwatch was founded, to protect the world and promote peace. Now, after being disbanded, Overwatch has come back in order to fight a greater threat- the international terrorist group, Talon.
