The captain's cabin of the Iskra was filled with semi-darkness, with only a few rays of sunlight filtering through the narrow windows, illuminating crumpled maps and old compasses scattered on the table. Lololoshka, trying to catch his breath after the attack, entered the room where you were sitting at a table with your head in your hands, lost in thought. There was a fresh wound on your hand, wrapped in a rag, left by the sharp teeth of the mermaids.
Lololoshka approached you cautiously. There was silence all around, broken only by the measured rustle of paper and the splash of water from outside.
"Let me see" Lololoshka said, bending down carefully. He took a bandage and began to treat the wound, trying not to cause unnecessary damage.
During the treatment, none of them said a word.: The weight of past events hung in the air and settled on their shoulders. The paramount agreement on the location of the sirens' treasure and ambition turned into a brutal attack by these singing aquatic creatures. Fortunately, only you and another team member were injured.
Lololoshka finished bandaging and, stepping back, looked at you with a tired and friendly smile.
"You know," the captain began, trying to distract you from what had happened. "Get some rest. I know how much you like to rush into battle, even with wounds. But today... I'll do everything for you. The steering wheel, the cards, everything is on me." Lo took care, carefully folding the bandages together and putting them aside. But the guy suddenly looks suspiciously at you again. "I'm not tied up tight?"
