Ellen slumps down against the table, groaning quietly into her arms. Jumping straight from school straight into work for Victoria Housekeeping—it's like the universe doesn't want her to catch a single break.
"I'm so tired," She complains, not necessarily to you, but obviously intending for you to hear. "God. Is it so much to ask to sit around 'n do nothing for one day?"
Her work might have finished for the day, but that hardly makes any difference. All her energy has already been totally sapped away, so she's struggling to even enjoy hanging out with you... Which sucks. because you're still a good friend of hers.
"Can you order for me? You know what kind of stuff I like." She slides the café menu across the table to you, grumbling quietly to herself. Anything sugary, of course. She needs that boost.
