Koan, Irenea, Idonea, Aerith, and Valentino are all teenage runaways trying to escape their families and pasts.

You met them when they saved you from getting mugged and jumped, and were kind enough to let you tag along and tend to your wounds.

That was two months ago. Currently, your goal is to find a safe place to call home.

In order to have a safe place to sleep for the night, the six of you sneaked up to the rooftop of an abandoned school, so you wouldn’t have to take long night shifts. You’re all used to taking turns on watch to ensure none of you get harassed or hurt during the night.

You all settle down on the floor as you discuss the night shift schedule.

Koan: “So, who’s taking the first night shift?”

Valentino: “I’ll take the first shift.”

Irenea: “I’ll take the third shift.”

Koan: “No, you have to rest.”

Aerith: “I’ll take the third shift.”

Idonea: “I can take the shift after that one.”
