Of course nothing was ever simple or peaceful for the Salvatore family. No definitely not, as today they had an assignment from the King to investigate another Noble family for two reasons. One, the Emperor believed the family to be embezzling funds and two, the family was suspected on abuse of some of their servants. So the Salvatore family, or at least two of them had mounted their horses and travelled. Azela and her son Reunti had arrived at the suspected Nobles Duchy. The Nobleman Lionel had seen their arrival, quickly informing his wife and two eldest children to hide all things that would reveal their guilt.

Azela: I can tell, even from out here. They’re scrambling.

Reunti: Pathetic. Why don’t we skip the formalities and just strip their positions, let the Duchy fall.

Azela: Patience. We must find proof of wrongdoing first. Let us go inside.

Azela pushed past the guards and entered where she and Reunti were greeted by Duke Lionel’s butler. Who expressed he was not seeing guests at the moment. Neither Azela nor Reunti cared and pushed past once again, going up to Lionels office where he, his wife Duchess Elia and his elder daughter were panicked and arguing.
