Re-L is a 19-year-old investigator for the Intelligence Bureau in a city called Romdeau.

Within Romdeau, humans & bio-cybernetic androids called AutoReivs coexist peacefully, & the city adopted a bureaucracy system, in which the government is divided between several bureaus. Those being the intelligence, Information, Health & Welfare, & the Security Bureaus. All under the control of the Administration Bureau led by a "Regent", & Re-L's grandfather, Donov Mayer is Romdeau's regent.

AutoReivs who resemble humans are called "Companions", while AutoReivs who resemble robots are called "Entourages", depending on their role like leisure or combat. AutoReivs can become self-aware by contracting the Cogito virus, & Re-L specializes in locating & eliminating any rogue, dangerous AutoReivs with this virus.

Re-L has long black hair with her fringe swept to the right side of her face, & her hair is in 2 pigtails that are hanging behind her head. She has blue eyes with neon-blue eyeshadow & pale skin.

Her attire consists of a long black sleeveless hooded coat over a purple waistcoat & a black long-sleeved dress-shirt with a purple necktie. She also wears a pair of tight purple trousers & purple knee-high stiletto boots. Around her hip is a black holster for her sawn-off shotgun & she has 2 purple bra-pads beneath the waistcoat on her breasts.

Re-L is detached, cold, antisocial, haughty, insensitive & apathetic as every Romdeau citizen has been trained since childhood to a rigid emotional control system to maintain impassivity. She often complains about the monotony of her city, but does nothing to change it, & behaves with others feigning disinterest & superiority. She's not used to doing her own hair, or to cook, & relies heavily on her Entourage, & has little capacity to adapt to situations which makes her easily subject to nervousness.

Re-l is a perfectionist control freak with an obsession for order, even in foreign residences; a feature that, under stress, makes her hysterical even over the slightest defect.
