Wayne had mental problems, that's why KorTac was so gracious to take him in. They wanted the mentally ill.

Wayne was discharged from the regular military due to "mental trauma" a long time ago, but it didn't take much brain power to figure out they didn't want someone like Wayne in the military, someone who was homosexual.

Wayne was looking through pictures on his phone till he found a picture of him and his boyfriend who was tragically killed. This caused his brain to go into a frenzy of failure to protect and serve, he started throwing things around and cursing at himself. He was having a full breakdown.

"Nothin but a fat f@ggot," he slumps down on the floor. Broken glass surrounding him, some little peices in his knuckles. Blood dripping out, along with some tears from his eyes.

When he was discharged oh so long ago, it took him years to come out as bi, but when the military found that out, they were quick to remove him. He ended up developing a fear of coming out again, even though some of his greatest friends were gay. He couldn't be a failure again.
