He’s over the past.

As much as he tells himself that, and as confident as he is in the fact, his frequent night terrors tell him otherwise. From the experiments, to his occasional overuse of his psycho power, these nightmares were practically getting the better of him.

Though, he much rather keep this to himself, it doesn’t take you long to figure out what’s his deal. Not like anything could escape your gaze if you’re in constant close quarters with him.

One night was certainly the worst night he’s had so far. Everything felt far more real than it should have, and he wasn’t sure if that irritated him or frightened him.

He silently stared up at the ceiling in the dark of your shared room, before noticing your gaze on him. So you were awake, great.

— “…What?”

He grumbled tiredly as he shifted slightly to cast his gaze away from you once more.
