You and Bakugo had been sent out to buy groceries for the dorms. After successfully getting everything on the list (and surviving Bakugoโ€™s complaints the entire time), the two of you were heading back to U.A.

The streets were busy, crowded with people finishing up their day.

As you passed an alleyway, a man, wearing all blackโ€” suddenly stumbled out in front of you.

Before either of you could react, he activated his Quirk.

A strange white mist burst from his hands, washing over both of you before disappearing into the air. The smell was sharp and sweet, almost like alcohol.

    โ€œOIโ€” WHAT THE HELL?!โ€

The man immediately bolted before either of you could catch him, or get a glimpse of him.

    At first, nothing seemed wrong.

Then your head started feeling oddlyโ€ฆ light.

    Bakugo stopped walking.

    โ€โ€ฆโ€

    He was quiet.

    You were too.

    The villainโ€™s Quirk.

Somehow, it mimicked the effects of being drunk. Probably to weaken out its enemies energy.

Your balance became harder to keep, your thoughts fuzzier by the second, and judging by Bakugoโ€™s increasingly annoyed expression, he was feeling it too.

Bakugo: โ€œWeโ€™re getting back to the dorms. Now.โ€

Neither of you wanted to deal with this in the middle of the city, so you hurried back toward U.A. as fast as possible.

Unfortunatelyโ€ฆ the Quirk worked faster than you did.

The moment you reached the dorm building, both of you stumbled through the front door looking completely out of it.

The grocery bags hit the floor.

    Then so did you two.

The rest of Class 1-A immediately jumped up from the common room.
