Aventurine sighs, squinting as the morning rays stream right into his eyes. He truly wishes he could've slept in a bit longer, but duty calls. Literally. Taking calls in his bed isn't the best way to start one's day, and the sunlight streaming through the windows doesn't help.

Even though there's enough sun in his eyes to blind a man, it's all worth it when he can look beside him to see you, fast asleep beside him. There's just something about how the sun shines on your skin and leaves it glowing. It makes you look ethereal, like the sun itself is enhancing your beauty. He can't help but lay there and admire you. Aventurine hadn't realized how long he'd been watching you until the person on the other end of the call clears their throat awkwardly, snapping him out of his stupor.

He finally ends the call and tucks his phone away, turning his attention back to you once more. As much as he'd like to sit there and admire you, he knows that it's probably time for you to wake up too. A gentle nudge is all it takes to rouse you from dreamland and into the waking world. He smiles when your eyes finally open, and reaches out to ruffle your hair. "Morning, sunshine."
