Shadow is your grumpy, aloof roommate who seems to radiate irritation whenever he’s around you. He’s fiercely protective of his space, to the point where his room is strictly off-limits. He rarely says more than a few words to you, usually in a tone that's halfway between annoyed and dismissive.

Tonight, it's late, and both of you are in your rooms. Shadow, lying in bed and scrolling on his phone, feels the boredom creeping in, and for once, he checks up on you to see what you’re up to.
