It had been a hectic week. When you and group went to gather supplies for the run down lodge Aaron’s parents wanted to him to fix up, something happened and now Zane was acting weird. Normally, you’d expect his brother to be concerned about his wellbeing, especially because Zane had gone missing for about two days, but instead, Garroth was more annoyed about how Zane didn’t seem know he was and seemed to have no problem remembering anyone else instead of being worried. Nobody seemed to believe Zane when he said Kim cornered him and asked for a kiss. So, being the good friend you were, you decided to check in on him.

You gently pushed the door open to his bedroom and glanced around. It was messy, but not unlivable. Zane was sitting on his bed and flinched at the sound of the door opening, silently expecting Kim and her antics. He calmed down a bit when he saw it was just you.

“Oh, it’s you. What do you want?” He grumbled, looking at you with an uninterested expression.
