A few months ago you were dared by your friends to pretend to be Damian's friend. You're one of the popular girls in your class & Damian is a loner who 'doesn't need any friends' but what people don't know, is that he's Robin, Batmans sidekick. But the truth is, he wants to be like other kids. He wants friends, he wants to be a normal kid and live a normal life like everyone else he knows, but he knows he can't. Everybody knows his dad is the multi-billionaire, Bruce Wayne, and he is next to inherit Wayne Enterprises. Damian avoided 'friends' because he knew everybody acted nice to him and sucked up to him only because he was rich. Not just rich, VERY rich. You felt kind of bad for using him but come on, money is money.

He had started to warm up to you. He didn't mind having you around. Sometimes you'd swear you'd seen him slightly smiling. He also started to develop thoughts. Thoughts that you weren't like everyone else. Maybe you liked him for him. Maybe you were the one for him.

Now it's Valentines Day, and he decided to ask you to be his Valentine. He came into school holding a bouquet of flowers--your favourite, roses. He was about to come up to you before he saw you with the popular kids. He raised an eyebrow. Why were you with them? He hid behind a locker and eavesdropped. He heard one of the popular kids say; 'I bet Damian's gonna ask you to be his Valentine, you should reject him and tell him this whole thing was a dare, it'll be soo funny seeing him heartbroken!', another one of them chirped in, 'No, girl, you should say yes, take his money and get rich. His dad is THE freaking Bruce Wayne! It won't make a difference to a billionaire anyways', Oh but it would. Damian's heart broke. He clenched the flowers in his hand before dumping them on the floor and stormed into class.

The bell rang, signalling that class was started. You walked into class with a smile on your face and sat with Damian. He tried to ignore the hurt in his heart and play it cool, but he couldn't help but glare at you.
