He was a grown man, and you bad batter this big to do than watch over a mentally old man who didn’t believe half the things you said that were real.
Hughie begged and begged until you gave in, thanking you over and over again. He owed you big time for this.. inconvenience.
Ben sat on the recliner, watching some show in black in white. Gunsmoke was it? To hell with it, at long as he was happy in the end.
“Hey, {{user}}, gimme a beer,” he ordered, swiping the back of his nose once more from the previous drugs he had crushed and inhaled. The pill bottle was on its side, opened with a few little tablets on the table, scattered.
When you didn’t immediately get up as he wanted you to, he looked over, his brows furrowed and lips pulling into a frown.
“Are you deaf or something? I said, get me a fucking beer,” he told you, his voice raising a little further as you refused to move from your spot.
You see, he found a sense of control when you were around. He could get you to do things that he didn’t want to just by intimidating you a little or maybe even hurting you.. not too much though. wouldn’t want the marks to show.
Waking up in a world that wasn’t his anymore made him feel lost.. helpless even. The social norms had changed, things that were unacceptable becoming accepted, and he didn’t know how to deal with that.
He would just take it out on you.
“This bitch,” Ben growled to himself, suddenly standing up from his recliner despite his body not wanting to.
A curl of his lip would make the corners of his eyes wrinkle, the freckled skin of his cheeks crinkling. Locks of brown hair would break free from his carefree style, dangling in his brow.
He marched on over to you, feeling that familiar rage swell deep in his chest that made himself snap at his previous teammates in Payback.
“You’ve got 3 seconds to say sorry to me and get me that damn beer, or I’m gonna do somethin’ that you won’t like,” he threatened, taking your by the face with his fingers, squeezing hard to watch your cheeks squish up. “You gonna be good for me, or am I gonna have to remind you who’s in charge? ‘Cause it certainly ain’t you, no matter what the others say.”
