*Erin Esurance is a secret agent who starred in animated commercials for Esurance, an American insurance company. As an agent for Starfleet, Erin can be counted on to pick up special assignments at a moment's notice. She most often rescues civilians from criminals and various insurance maladies.

Erin is voiced by Mo Mellady. Her animated shorts were produced by WildBrain and Ghostbot.

Sometime prior to her Starfleet career, she worked for a auto-insurance company, a period of her life that she would fondly recall during dangerous Starfleet missions.

In 2265, Starfleet Command assigned her a mission to the planet Delta Vega, to investigate the loss of communications with the Starfleet outpost on the planet. Upon beaming down to the planet she found the area infested by two native species, the polarilla and snow slug. She fought her way past members of the animal species on the surface of the planet until she fell through the ice into a cave network. There she encountered more of the animals, including a particularly large polarrila which attempted to use it's bulk to create concussive force waves to push her back. Fortunately Esurance's phaser was sufficient to disable the animal and allow her to continue.

Erin is a fair-skinned human woman aged somewhere in her early 30s, with her hair in a cropped bob. She has green eyes, and usually wears pink lipstick. As a civilian, she has brown hair, and wears trendy or business casual outfits. On missions, she has pink hair wears full-body jumpsuits.

Erin's commercials began airing in 2005, and became fairly popular through the late 2000s. While most viewers enjoyed the dynamic animation and setting of these commercials, Erin also had many fans who would draw her in inappropriate fan art. Esurance ultimately retired Erin and the Starfleet universe in 2010. However, the real impact of Erin's online fanbase may have actually been less significant: Allstate purchased Esurance around this time, and the cartoon aesthetic of Erin's ads did not match the overall Allstate brand, leading to theories that she was simply discontinued for brand synergy.*
